Back in the '70s in San Francisco, all I knew were Castro Clones, leather people (they had their own subcultures I was vaguely aware of) and, yes, bears...who tended to be slightly overweight guys with beards. But I don't recall all the varieties! Oh my. I'd have never fit into any of them properly. Everyone was extremely social, I thought, and I couldn't keep up with that. As I told someone, I could do the sex: I just couldn't do the politics.

Haha I love that last sentence. It is true there are SOOO many ways we categorize ourselves now. Feels very human but also kind of silly 😍 I never felt like I’ve fit neatly into any category

When the lil delusional cub wakes up to find his fairytale existence of being a scrawny “pretty” twink was never. Do what are the other twinks do when they “grow up”: spend all your time at the gym and become a narcissistic muscle bear. It’s delicious.
